Have a graduation gown?

You can help a healthcare worker!

Why graduation gowns?

The PPE Shortage Problem: Medical facilities are lacking personal protective equipment (PPE) in the fight against COVID-19. Healthcare workers are using anything they can to protect themselves and their patients — even trash bags.

The Graduation Gown Solution: Graduation gowns are more effective than other PPE alternatives given their length, sleeves, and easy zippered access. To carry out this mission of protecting healthcare workers by upcycling graduation gowns, the Gowns4Good initiative was formed in April 2020.

How can I help?

Whether your graduation gown is collecting dust in the back of your closet or is no longer needed for a 2020 commencement, you can protect a healthcare worker by donating a graduation gown today. Just follow these three simple steps:

Rustle up any gowns you’ve got in your closet, and fill out the donate form to let us know how many gowns you have and where they’re coming from.

In the donate form, select a medical facility from our list of accepting facilities. (We recommend picking one near you to cut down shipping costs and environmental impact!)

Who’s behind Gowns4Good?
